Walk With Me, Brother ("we", "us") is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit. These terms cover your use of walkwithmebrother.com (the "site"). By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Using the site
You may use the site to read stories, find walks, contact us, and learn about the mission. Do not misuse the site. That includes trying to break it, overloading it, sending unlawful material through our forms, or pretending to be someone else.
The site is peer community and information. It is not a substitute for professional care.
Donations
Donations are processed by third party payment services such as PayPal and Square. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies. We do not store your full card number on this site.
A donation does not buy sponsorship, advertising, goods, or special access unless a separate written agreement says so. These terms do not promise sponsor benefits.
These terms do not promise that a donation is tax deductible. Tax treatment depends on your own situation. Ask a tax advisor if you need advice.
No medical advice and no crisis service
Nothing on this site is medical advice, mental health treatment, or a crisis service. We are not medically or professionally trained to provide mental health care. Walks, chapters, stories, and forms are peer support and community, not therapy.

Content we own
The text, photos, logo, and other materials on this site are owned by Walk With Me, Brother or used with permission. You may share links to our pages. Please ask before you copy our photos or logo for your own commercial use. Stories and quotes stay with the people who shared them.
If you send us a message through a form, you give us permission to read it and reply. Please do not send confidential medical information.
Links to other sites
The site links to other organizations, including crisis lines and payment processors. We do not control those sites. A link is not an endorsement of everything on that site. Their terms apply when you leave our site.
Limits on liability
The site is provided as is. We work to keep information useful and accurate, and we do not guarantee that it is complete, current, or free of errors. To the fullest extent allowed by California law, Walk With Me, Brother and its volunteers are not liable for damages that arise from your use of the site, your reliance on its content, or a third party site or payment service.
Some places do not allow certain limits on liability. In those places, our liability is limited to the smallest amount the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law says cannot be limited, including liability for fraud or willful misconduct.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law rules. Courts in California may hear disputes about these terms or the site, except where the law gives you the right to bring a claim somewhere else.
